Spring is here!

March 1, 2008

Look around and you'll be dazzled. Charleston is nearly in peak bloom, a riot of color created by azaleas and camellias, wisteria, flowering fruit trees, redbuds, pearl bushes, honeysuckle, dogwoods, anemones, hyacinths, lilies, magnolias, and bedding flowers. And when the daffodils bloom, baseball and barbecues, fishing and campouts can't be too far away.
Here are a few suggestions for March outings:

* Get a taste of Blowout Charleston at the French Quarter Art Walk, March 7, 5-8pm.
* 60th Annual Festival of Houses and Gardens features about 150 historic private houses in 10
colonial and antebellum neighborhoods, March 13 through April 12.
* Enjoy the Charleston International Antiques Show on top of Charleston's historic High Battery, which will will feature more than 30 of the worlds pre-eminent antiques dealers March 14-16.

The seasons are changing, and if you're considering making a move or a summer home improvement project - I'd be happy to advise you on ways to get the most out of your home and your move. Please know that I value your business and appreciate your referrals. If someone close to you is thinking about selling or buying a home, please give them my name and you can be assured they'll get my most attentive care.

Thanks,
Jay
